The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Machine Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by : Ensuring you own safety by following all related policies Operating production equipment, inspecting, and packing product safely and according to standards Performing tests at a high quality of standards set by quality specifications Supporting the team when working with other Operators, and Service Groups to optimize processes including timeliness of product flow Contributing to continuous improvement and problem solving Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications : Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start) Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include : One (1) year of manufacturing experience Ability to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shift (depending on shift availability) Ability to work overtime, weekends or holidays as needed Work location : Onsite - 601 22nd Ave S, Brookings, SD 57006-2821 Travel : No Travel Relocation Assistance : Not Authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). The starting rate of pay for this position is $24.39 / hour, with the potential for future pay increases. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
