Diesel Engine Mechanic

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

This position offers competitive pay ranging from $20.50 to $26.50 per hour , based on experience and qualifications, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus !

You will work a day shift, Monday - Friday .

All that you need is :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a general mechanic
• Knowledge about shop tools and equipment
• Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
• Proficiency with computers and electronic service information systems
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently
• Ability to read and write in English
• Professional appearance

Experience with welding as well as heavy equipment industry experience would be a plus. ASE certification is preferred but not required. Do you have great organizational, time management, and communication skills? Are you detail-oriented? If yes, you may be a perfect fit!

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR DIESEL ENGINE MECHANIC?

As a Diesel Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and replacing braking systems and tires as needed, keeping our fleet in top condition. Additionally, you will play a key role in checking and repairing vehicle trailer lighting systems, a vital aspect of our operations.

Performing preventative maintenance will be a regular part of your duties. Your meticulous nature will shine as you maintain detailed records of serviced equipment and adhere to an inspection procedure checklist. We value efficiency and accuracy, and you will be expected to make repairs promptly and accurately, minimizing any call-backs or re-work.
