Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer - Olmsted Falls / Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 25-01265 Salary Range : $70K - $85K Permanent Position with Benefits Olmsted Falls / Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Engineer as a continuous improvement leader to develop standards, work instructions, and troubleshoot machining faults as they arise on the shop floor. REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate (Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is strongly preferred) Organized and skilled with database activity, word processing , Autodesk Inventor / AutoCAD (FeatureCAM and Minitab preferred) Create accurate drawings, layouts, Dimensional Control Plans, and other relevant documentation Collaborate with Engineering and Production to streamline multiple processes for production control by eliminating unnecessary steps and paperwork Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / blueprints, specs, & tolerances to plan for parts production Plan, train, and update continuous improvement program Develop standard work instructions for machining process Green Belt in Six Sigma is preferred Oversee overall quality & efficacy of the engineering & production departments Troubleshoot production and fields issues diagnosing faults as they arise Research, quote, order, and approve tools and other equipment required to manufacture parts to customer specifications Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
