Very reputable, well established and growing company located in Indianapolis is looking for an Automation Manager.
This role comes with an excellent compensation package with base salary ranging from $180k to $200k plus an annual 20% bonus. Relocation assistance is also available.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in automating, standardizing processes and control systems in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of DCS systems such as ABB, Honeywell, DeltaV, Siemens, Rockwell, Allen Bradley or Ignition along with PLC, HMI and SCADA.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and always maintaining safe practices
- Actively reviews practices, workflows and systems to identify opportunities and advises on appropriate interventions for process improvements that impact production and business results
- Facilitates change management by engaging with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of system-based, proactive and automated improvements; provides training and support to employees at all levels to encourage the adoption of new processes and tools
- Drives knowledge exchange with technology experts (plant resources, engineering solutions, internal / external consultant groups, sister plants etc.), to increase awareness of potential improvement opportunities
- Monitors the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and makes necessary adjustments
- Identifies new technologies and processes that can improve equipment performance and automation
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldExperience
10 plus years of proven experience in controls systems, programming and automation requiredCompetencies
