Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Clyde, North Carolina 28721 – Near Asheville, with access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job

Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry

Facility : Modern 154-bed hospital with a 39-bed Med / Surg unit

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680–$1800

Patient Population : Adult and Geriatric

Electronic Health Record : Paragon EHR

Orientation : Bi-weekly

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs)

At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience

Ability to work night shifts and weekends

Strong clinical skills in adult and geriatric patient care

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Must reside at least 60 miles from facility to qualify for travel nurse rate

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients

Monitor and assess patients with diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infections

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient care in Paragon Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Float to other hospital units and work weekends as needed

Maintain professional nursing standards and adhere to hospital policies
