Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Neurosurgery - $110 to $125 per hour in Tampa, FL

Full-Time Locums Neurosurgery Opportunity with Call in Florida Highlights Inpatient-only role with no outpatient responsibilities Provides flexibility to work with a well-established team Malpractice insurance is included Credentialing is estimated to take only 30-60 days Travel and lodging accommodations are provided Practice Setting A 600 bed hospital with a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center Work with 5 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers Rounding on both adult and pediatric patients Average patient volume per shift varies Admissions are not a required responsibility Schedule Scheduled clinical hours plus call Call is rotated among the PAs, including weekend and night responsibilities This is a full-time, ongoing need to help with a vacancy Procedures and Cases First assist in the OR Provide care for a variety of adult and pediatric neurosurgery patients Handle both inpatient rounding and first assist responsibilities Requirements Active Florida license ACLS and BLS certifications required Must be an experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant Must be able to work without hospital privileges The facility is open to accepting multiple providers Travel Accommodations Lodging recommendations are available Travel will be provided from the nearest airport Malpractice insurance is included
