Locum Tenens Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Location : Near Springfield, MA

Dates : ASAP - Ongoing

We are seeking two skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Physicians for locum tenens positions near Springfield, MA. This opportunity involves providing both scheduled clinical hours and on-call coverage. Ideal candidates will have recent OB / GYN experience and be board certified. This role is essential for maintaining continuity of care in a busy OB practice.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide regular clinic coverage, including follow-ups, return OB, and gynecological care
  • Handle triage and see same-day sick patients
  • Cover Labor and Delivery (L&D) in-house for a busy OB practice (approximately 950 deliveries per year)
  • Minimal call coverage needed
  • Must be local or willing to travel to the area
  • Provide three peer references from the past two years, with at least six months of experience

    • Licensed in Massachusetts

  • Certifications

    • ACLS and BLS preferred

  • Malpractice History

    • $500k or less in claims

  • Credentialing Timeframe
