Salary : $25 - $35 an hour

KTL INC, a leading refrigerated food transport company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our new fleet shop in Dekalb. As a Fleet Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of tractors and reefers, helping us to continue to provide exceptional customer service and uptime to our customers. Typical responsibilities of this position include :

• Performing preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections
• Diagnosing and repairing all phases of vehicle and equipment, including tires, brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, and transmission clutches
• Ensuring work orders are completed accurately and efficiently
• Assisting with road calls and emergency services as necessary
• Moving vehicles safely between job and work area
