Digital Sales Specialist

A Sales Representative (Digital) role within IBM Security means being the point of entry to industry-leading solutions that help our clients face challenges of cloud security, advanced threats, compliance and privacy, and mobile and remote security. You'll continuously develop personally and professionally to stay at the forefront of industry trends and remain a trusted advisor whose clients' success depend on. As a Digital Sales Specialist you'll become a trusted go-to expert. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team - advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions. Your achievements will drive your career, team, and clients to thrive. A typical day may involve :

  • Deal Closure Prediction : Predicting deal closures by understanding client buying cycles.
  • Up / Cross-Sell Support : Assisting colleagues in identifying up / cross-sell opportunities.
  • Business Campaign Activation : Activating new business campaigns with IBM Marketing and Sales.
  • Use-Case and Proof of Concept Development : Developing use-cases and proofs of concept with the team.
  • Value Proposition Presentation : Presenting compelling value propositions to clients and effectively landing solutions.

Required technical and professional expertise :

  • Technical Sales Proficiency and Relationship Management
  • High Proficiency in Digital Selling including Cold Calls, Cadences, Social Media tools and techniques.
  • Competent Client Facing Presentation Skills.
  • Top of the funnel prospecting experience : i.e. SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
