Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as a resource to management on complex and occasionally highly complex claim or coverage matters and high severity claims.
  • Provides authorization for damage estimates and claim payments for complex claims.
  • Provides vendor management and oversight.
  • Supports and manages coverage investigations, supplement triage, subrogation investigations, Public Adjuster claims, claims for ALE handling, asbestos abatement, OA ladder assists, and contents inventory and pricing.
  • Conducts Service Observe audits; reports findings and in some cases, coaches the employee.
  • Reviews statistical reports to diagnose issues with claim performance, processes, or procedures, and explains information and analysis as a result of the research.
  • Conducts claims performance / quality / audit reviews.
  • Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process.
  • Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes.

Education

  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
  • Experience

  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred).
  • Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.
  • Education & Experience (in lieu)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

    Compensation

    Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

    The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
