This position requires a night shift schedule. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with various medical conditions. The unit typically cares for adult patients, including those with stroke, renal disorders, sepsis, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and hematological disorders. Nurses will work in a telemetry monitored environment and provide cardiac surveillance for patients. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services. The ability to float between different campuses may be required depending on staffing needs. Candidates should be prepared to pass a required EKG exam during compliance. This role demands flexibility in scheduling, and adherence to policies regarding punctuality and attendance is essential. Successful candidates must fulfill compliance requirements prior to the start of the position.
