IT Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer with a focus on CMMC and NIST compliance to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, and process development.

Responsibilities

Compliance & Security

• Lead efforts to build, maintain, and mature the organization’s CMMC and NIST 800-171 compliance programs.
• Develop, implement, and manage cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards aligned with CMMC Level 2 and NIST frameworks.
• Conduct internal security assessments, identify compliance gaps, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with external assessors, consultants, and clients to ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation for security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Stay current on evolving DoD cybersecurity regulations and CMMC requirements.
