What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verify identification as required by site policies. Support emergency preparedness and response activities, including participating in drills and responding to alarms or emergencies. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
