Senior Supply Chain Professional

The Senior Supply Chain Professional will report to the Associate Director of Enterprise Print Management and will be involved in the specifying, bidding, procurement, and production of printed materials. This position involves evaluating and selecting print vendors for Enterprise-wide print mail communications, ensuring that materials are delivered on time, and managing budgets to achieve cost-effective solutions. Other areas of focus include production planning, inventory control, and distribution. Effective communication and relationship-building skills are key, as the role involves coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates integrated processes among internal functions such as business owners, operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside print vendors
- Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of printed materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning / forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis
- Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization and outside print / mail vendors
- Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
- Contributes to RFP Execution, Management, and Analytics
- Participates in gathering and interpreting relevant data and assists with Budget planning and forecasting

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 5 years of relevant print, fulfillment, vendor management and / or direct mail management experience preferredExperience in developing and managing project plans and timelinesAbility to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from multi-faceted and often ambiguous dataStrong financial and business acumen requiredProficient in Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to motivate project team members and stakeholders to meet established deadlinesMotivated initiative-taker with the ability to work with minimal oversightAbility to be flexible and willing to learn new skill sets quickly as the need arisesEffectiveness in working collaboratively with cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications
Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel including modeling and development of macrosExperience in working for a large-scale, multi-layered health and wellbeing organizationExperience in working with logistics partners such as UPS, FedEx, and USPSExcellent analytical skills : ability to research and make efficient use of resources to achieve effective business resultsAbility to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously in a timely and professional manner; ability to transfer lessons learned into new processes; flexibility in job focusUnderstanding of financial & accounting principlesTravel : While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.Scheduled Weekly Hours

Pay Range
$78,400 - $107,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
