Job Summary and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the healthcare provider, you'll play a critical role in patient safety and well-being, performing vital preliminary tests and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

You will :

Patient Intake & Vitals : Greet / prepare patients; obtain / record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, resp, height, weight, allergies, meds, presenting problem).

Diagnostic Support : Perform routine tests (e.g., EKGs).

Medication & Vaccine Admin : Administer ordered medications / vaccines (oral, injection, topical, etc.).

Specimen Collection (May be required) : Draw / collect blood samples; prepare specimens for lab analysis.

Scheduling & Communication : Schedule diagnostic testing and follow up; communicate test results and plan of care to patients.

Room & Equipment Prep : Clean / sterilize instruments; maintain equipment; stock / clean exam rooms; dispose of contaminated items.

Documentation : Document patient plan(s) of care, tests, and examination results in medical record.

Non Certified MA : $19.25 - 26.78

Certified MA : $22.51-31.79

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring :

Required Education and Experience : High school diploma or GED.

Required Licensure and Certifications :

AHA BLS certification within thirty (30) days of hire.

Preferred : Certified Medical Assistant and / or Medical Assistant experience.

Pay Range

$22.51 - $31.79 / hour
