Job Description

The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting daily quality checks, setting up and executing product tests for attributes such as salt, pH, and texture. This role involves handling samples from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained, and updating procedures and training materials. The technician will train plant staff on food safety basics, determine product compliance with standards, enter data, manage product specifications, organize records, inspect equipment, collect microbiological samples, review Certificates of Analysis, and ensure all products are safe, legal, and meet customer expectations.

Work Environment

Work in a GMP environment that prohibits jewelry, fake eyelashes, and piercings. The facility can be cold in certain areas, but jackets are provided. The floor is wet, yet the environment is well-lit and comfortable. Initial training occurs on the first shift for three months, followed by a transition to the third shift from 10 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr.
