About The Position

Must-Have :

Proficient skills in PIV insertions.

Proficient skills in peripheral blood draws.

Proficient in PICC dressing changes.

Proficient in medication administration (oral, IM, subcutaneous, intradermal).

Proficiency in performing phlebotomies and accessing ports preferred.

Description :

We are a small clinic with a team of healthcare providers.

We provide medications and vaccinations for patients with hematologic disorders and supportive medication for oncology patients.

We offer venous access to patients prior to receiving chemotherapy.

Our services include chemotherapy titration and monitoring of hematologic disorders.

We are seeking candidates who are quick learners and adaptable to fast-paced environments.

Important skills for potential candidates include the ability to provide patient education and support.

Candidates should have experience with alterations in skin and mucous membranes and managing complications such as extravasation injury.

Experience with various cancer types and treatments, including hormonal therapy and inpatient / outpatient oncology, is beneficial.

Candidates will be expected to manage a range of patient needs, including nausea and vomiting, and adhere to neutropenic precautions.
