Physician – Pulmonologist / Intensivist (Critical Care Investigator)

Position Summary

Career Interest :

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is seeking a dedicated Clinician Investigator to join our team at a prestigious tertiary care teaching hospital with over 170 (136 adult and 34 pediatric) ICU beds. The successful candidate will contribute at least 50% of their time to research through clinical trials, translational research, implementation science research and other acceptable methods as outlined for University faculty.

Key Responsibilities :

Research and Development :

• Primary investigator for critical care research for therapies, devices, or pathways
• Have current funding or concrete pathway for extramural / intramural funds to support research and scholarship activities
• Contribute to research through clinical trials, translational research, implementation science and other acceptable methods
