Location : Bethpage, NY 11714 (Long Island nursing jobs)

Unit : Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry Unit

Assignment Type : Travel RN job

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Shift : Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 48 hours

Orientation : 16 hours (monthly start dates)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1980 - $2030

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active New York State RN license (required for New York healthcare jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown or telemetry nursing

Resume with explanations for any employment gaps over 30 days

Skills checklist and license / certification verification

Two supervisory clinical references (Charge RN references accepted)

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions considered)

Former permanent employees not eligible for this travel nurse assignment

Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not required

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients

Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in cardiac patient conditions

Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform cardiac monitoring

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, treatments, and recovery

Participate in orientation and required healthcare training modules
