The Department of Radiology at Staten Island
University Hospital / Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine is seeking
an Interventional Radiologist for a full-time faculty position at
the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We perform a broad
range of IR procedures including angiography, AV access creation
and maintenance, venous interventions, uterine fibroid
embolization, thermal ablation, radioembolization, TIPS, GU
interventions, GI interventions, biliary procedures, and image
guided biopsies on state-of-the-art equipment. This position will
be sited in Staten Island, NY. Applicants must be board certified
or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology and have
completed an interventional radiology fellowship. Responsibilities
will include inpatient and outpatient clinical care and active
involvement in teaching of medical students and residents of the
ACGME approved residency program. In addition, we are an
ACGME-approved ESIR program with currently two full-time residents
on service. The department is actively enrolling in clinical trials
with additional opportunities for research. Staten Island
University Hospital is a 714-bed teaching hospital that spans two
