About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our growing landscape company. As the primary liaison between our company and valued clients, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional client relationships, ensuring project success, and driving business growth through superior service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial and residential accounts
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally
- Conduct regular client meetings and property assessments
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention
Project Coordination & Quality Control
Develop and implement comprehensive work plans for client propertiesCoordinate scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation across multiple projectsConduct weekly property inspections to ensure quality standards are metProvide feedback and direction to production crews and field supervisorsMonitor project timelines and ensure on-time completionOversee crew performance and provide training as neededBusiness Development
Identify and pursue upselling opportunities with existing clientsDevelop proposals for additional services and enhancementsMaintain and grow assigned book of businessCollaborate with sales team to target new market opportunitiesPresent landscaping solutions that align with client needs and budgetsAdministrative Duties
Maintain accurate client records and account documentationPrepare detailed proposals, contracts, and work ordersCoordinate billing processes and resolve payment issuesGenerate regular reports on account performance and growthEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesRequired Qualifications
Experience & Education
2+ years of account management or client relations experiencePrevious experience in landscaping, construction, or related service industry strongly preferredProven track record of maintaining client relationships and driving business growthSkills & Competencies
Leadership : Ability to manage and motivate field crews and subcontractorsCommunication : Excellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganization : Strong project management and time management abilitiesSales Acumen : Experience with consultative selling and relationship-based salesTechnical Knowledge : Understanding of landscaping practices, plant materials, and maintenance proceduresProblem-Solving : Ability to resolve conflicts and address challenges proactivelyTechnology : Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management toolsPhysical Requirements
Ability to walk properties and conduct outdoor inspections in various weather conditionsValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyPreferred Qualifications
Industry certifications (NALP, ICPI, or similar)Experience with landscape design softwareBilingual capabilities (English / Spanish)Knowledge of irrigation systems and horticultural practicesWhat We Offer
