- Video Streaming Enhancements
Work with the team to enhance adaptive bitrate algorithms for video streaming
Study wireless parameters and use the statistics to guarantee smooth video in all environmentsSetup test cases and automation to validate the featureAutomatic frequency selectionWork on algorithms that automatically select a frequency for the drone and docked systems
Characterization of various tools that help in the decision making processTest and validate the feature across all interference scenariosAutomationDevelop test automated test frameworks for drones in Python
Integrate test cases to CI / CD pipelinesIdentify and analyze test failures with the help of data telemetry upload and extractionSetup SQL queries in the automation to catch SW and performance bugsWork with Wireless Systems team to setup KPIs and root cause analysisGround-to-air Propagation and Interference Modeling for UAVsCollect empirical data for ground-to-air propagation and interference under various environments.
Develop and validate path loss and interference models for various altitudes and distancesGlass-to-glass Packet Loss CharacterizationInstrument the system to capture packet loss across software, hardware, and networking subsystems.
