Medical Physicist – Multiple Locations, Texas

Locations : Flower Mound, Harlingen, Longview, Odessa, Midland, El Paso, Plano (East), Longview / Tyler

Job Type : Permanent

Experience : 1 – 30 years

State : Texas

We are seeking a full-time, team-oriented Medical Physicist to join a community-based cancer care network in Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a network of facilities equipped with advanced radiation therapy technology.

Facilities & Equipment :

  • Network of 10 cancer centers on the Gulf Coast
  • 10 Linacs (TrueBeam & C-Series), 4 Elekta HDRs
  • ARIA ROIS, Eclipse, RadCalc, SNC SunCHECK
  • QA tools : IC Profiler, MapCheck2, SNC Routine, 3D scanning systems
  • Treating ~250 patients / day with a dedicated team of physicists, oncologists, dosimetrists, and residents

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide full range of on-site clinical medical physics support, including HDR
  • Support physics operations across regional sites as needed
  • Calibrate and maintain treatment planning and dosimetric equipment
  • Advise and collaborate with physicians and technical staff during patient planning and treatment

    • Desired Skills & Qualifications :

  • Master's degree or PhD in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited institution
  • ABR certified or completed CAMPEP-approved residency and board eligible
  • Texas Medical Board license required (or must be obtained)
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
