Job descriptionPrepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order. Attend to customers upon entrance / seating. Present restaurant menus and help customers select food / beverages. Take orders from customers and collect payment. Perform all opening / closing duties and side work. Running food and bussing tables when necessary. Follow all steps of service. Any other duties deemed necessary to the position. Previous experience as a server. Ability to memorize all menu items and ingredients, as well as daily / weekly specials. Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine. Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time. Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs. Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor. Ability to multitask efficiently. Attention to cleanliness and safety. Relevant training certifications (TABC and Food Handlers). Authorized to work in the United States.
