Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,100 - $2,250 ER RN Travel Job Details Location : Klamath Falls, Oregon (97601) – Southern Oregon healthcare jobs Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : October 15, 2025 End Date : January 14, 2026 Setting : Acute Care, Level III Trauma Center Shifts : 12-hour shifts (mids / nights; flexibility for all shift types : 0645, 0945, 1145, 1345, or 1845 start times) Schedule : Alternate work week (36 / 36 or 48 / 24); must be open to any assigned shift Guaranteed Hours : 72 hours per two weeks Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : At least one major holiday off Orientation : Minimum 2 days of department-specific orientation Emergency Room RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Oregon Emergency License accepted Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience Previous travel nursing assignment required (no new travelers) Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, TNCC Experience with mental health, ETOH, and overdose patients preferred Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems preferred Flexibility to work any shift and alternate work week schedules Ability to secure local housing in Klamath Falls, Oregon (housing may be challenging; research before applying) ER RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a busy Emergency Department Assess, triage, and manage patients with trauma, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, mental health, and substance-related emergencies Care for patients in triage and psychiatric hold areas Collaborate with ED physicians, advanced practice providers, charge nurses, house supervisors, ED techs, and sitters Utilize advanced monitoring equipment (Spacelabs), Epic EMR, and Pyxis systems Perform or assist with phlebotomy, EKGs, and respiratory interventions (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow oxygen) Adhere to department dress code (any scrubs; uniforms not required) Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ER RN in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and take the next step in your nursing career!
