This role provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will : Evaluate patients & assist physicians with care plans Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs Prioritize care through assessment, intervention & evaluation Develop and coordinate individualized care plans Perform therapeutic nursing interventions Manage and monitor patient status including telemetry Chart accurately in EMR systems Provide evidence-based patient-centered care Float within step-down and med-surg units as needed Requirements Education Required : ASN Preferred : BSN Licenses & Certifications Active NJ RN License or Compact License BLS - AHA ACLS - AHA NIHSS Telemetry Certification 4-hour Stroke CEU Experience Minimum 2 years RN experience in MS / Tele in a major acute-care hospital Strong telemetry background Preferred Experience Ventilator experience Post-cardiac surgery experience Post-surgical experience Skills ✅ Telemetry monitoring ✅ IV insertion & management ✅ Central line care ✅ Medication administration ✅ EMR proficiency (Epic or similar) ✅ Basic tracheostomy care & stable ventilator management Schedule Nights : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM 3x12 shifts Every other weekend required No holidays | No call Float to step-down & med-surg as needed Note : OR experience not required - this is a step-down floor nursing role.
