Construction Surveillance Technician I

Currently, System High is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Construction Surveillance Technician I to join our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Provide day-to-day security in support of SCIF & SAP construction efforts.
- Conduct security construction inspections as part of the secure construction build. Some of the areas for inspection require wearing a "fall harness" attached to safety lines.
- Must climb ladders and scaffolding to access secure construction inspectable areas.
- Assesses, identifies, and communicates recommendations for improvement of policies, procedures, and systems.
- Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks to the controlled construction areas.
- Draft security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including senior military leaders.
- Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting security incidents to site lead.
- Follow and enforce customers Standard Operation Procedures.
- Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and / or the Senior Security Representative.
Basic qualifications :
1 - 2 years related experienceSecurity Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years exp.Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experienceMaximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 yearsEducation : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years)Security Clearance Requirements :
Current Secret Clearance. Must be able to obtain TS / SCIEligibility for access to Special Access Program InformationWillingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraphLearning and Development :
Within the first 30 days, must complete the following training thru CDSE.
