AM200 Law Firm based here in Cleveland is looking to add an experienced Workflow Coordinator to their growing team! Competitive salary and benefits - excellent culture and environment.

Key responsibilities include receiving and distributing work requests, assigning tasks to team members, monitoring progress to meet deadlines, performing quality control, and communicating with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to resolve bottlenecks. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in legal software and project management tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Task and project management :  Coordinate and distribute incoming work, track submissions using project management tools, and ensure timely completion by managing assignments and deadlines.
  • Quality control :  Review work product for accuracy and adherence to standards before it is returned to the client or an attorney.
  • Communication and coordination :  Act as a liaison between attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to facilitate work, provide updates, and manage handoffs, sometimes across different time zones or shifts.
  • Problem-solving :  Identify and address workflow bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and suggest process improvements.
  • Support and training :  Provide support to attorneys, assist with overflow secretarial tasks, and help train new team members.
  • Process improvement :  Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve productivity.
  • Administrative support :  May assist with administrative tasks such as billing and credit control, or provide technical support for document production.

Essential skills and qualifications

  • Communication :  Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various levels of staff and clients.
  • Organizational skills :  Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Attention to detail :  Meticulous approach to reviewing and handling documents and assignments.
  • Technical proficiency :  Experience with project management software, document management systems, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Problem-solving :  Ability to analyze issues and find effective solutions.
  • Teamwork and customer service :  Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent service to internal clients.
