Healthcare Legal Counsel

A prestigious law firm with a growing presence in Tampa is in search of an experienced Health Care Attorney to join its esteemed Health Care Practice Group. Representing various clients, including physician practices, telemedicine providers, health care organizations, and investors in the health care and life sciences sectors, this firm is a leader in the industry.

Applicants should possess 46 years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional law (those with up to 8 years will also be considered). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of federal and state health care regulations and their impact on business transactions in the health care field. Previous experience in drafting complex legal documents, handling intricate matters, and mentoring junior lawyers is highly desirable.

The firm is looking for a collaborative, motivated, and well-rounded attorney who excels in a dynamic setting. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage with clients and senior partners. Experience at an AmLaw firm is preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active and in good standing with at least one state bar

• Eligibility for prompt admission to the Florida Bar (required for employment)

• 48 years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional law

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
