Operations Financial Analyst I-III

Job Description

Operations Financial Analyst I, II, and III positions are available. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and performing a broad scope of budget analyses and reporting for operations and the power generation facilities.

Responsibilities include :

• Analysis of the overall financial and operational performance of generating plant and associated assets.
• Coordination of budgeting and reporting processes.
• Preparation of summary-level reports or presentations to provide useful, timely budget performance analysis.
• Support for special projects of a financial or economic nature.
• Coordination with various departments to ensure that overall data documentation and analysis support the actual performance of generation plants.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field, and relevant experience in electric utility generation planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

The ideal candidates will have good PC skills, knowledge of finance, accounting, and engineering economics, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Travel requirements : 10-15%. Unusual hours may be required during certain periods.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
