Job Description :
Assistant, Associate, Full Professor at the University of Florida. The Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time clinician-research track position for the Division of Hematology / Oncology at the Assistant / Associate / Full Professor level. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible) hematologist-oncologist with experience in hematologic malignancies and an active interest in the development and conduct of clinical trials. This individual will have a primarily clinical assignment, but will also be expected to develop, conduct and participate in clinical trials and other collaborative research involving patients with hematologic malignancies and cellular immunotherapy. An emphasis on multiple myeloma clinical trials is desired. This is an opportunity to join a program that is a charter core center of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network for 20 years, has been FACT accredited since 2000, and has had consistent growth in patient volumes, while achieving superior outcomes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity and be expected to collaborate in a variety of activities including subspecialty and multidisciplinary cancer clinic at the UF Health main campus, cancer case and research conferences, and clinical trials.
The UF Division of Hematology and Oncology is aligned with, and our faculty are members of, the UF Health Cancer Institute, providing novel clinical research, innovative treatments, and compassionate care for individuals facing all types of cancer and hematologic diseases. The UF Department of Medicine is a national leader in cancer. UF Health Shands Hospital has been recognized as one of the best hospitals in Florida. In addition, the U.S. News & World Report's 2019-2020 ranked UF Health Shands Hospital among the nation's Top 50 in 9 adult and 3 pediatric specialties :

Resources available for professional development at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center include leadership, education, and research training through support from the UF Health Cancer Institute, Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI), formal mentorship programs, and supported opportunities for teaching and research. Clinical research support is provided by the UF Health Cancer Institute Clinical Research Office. Requisite attributes include a commitment to service, good verbal and written communication skills, a strong sense of teamwork and a desire to train tomorrow's doctors.

Expected Salary :
Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements :
Applicants must be board-certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology, have an MD degree or equivalent, and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
