Full-Time Psychiatrist (MD / DO)

Location : Northwest Arkansas (locations in Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville and Springdale)

Position Overview :

Alleviant Integrated Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to join our expanding team in Arkansas. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about providing comprehensive mental health care and who values collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Patient Care (50%) : Provide direct psychiatric care to a diverse patient population, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. Engage in both face-to-face and telepsychiatry sessions as required.
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) (25%) : Monitor TMS treatments, including performing initial mappings and re-mappings (training provided), and collaborate with the clinical team. Ensure that all procedural notes are accurately completed within 24 hours of the appointment.
  • Collaboration (25%) : Work closely with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) under collaborative practice agreements. This includes a 1% chart review per APRN, providing guidance, and conducting peer-to-peer preauthorization and appeals for TMS when required. Participate in Alleviant’s overall patient evaluation program and assist in staff utilization review, cost containment, and risk management functions.

Qualifications :

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Arkansas.
  • DEA certification with necessary authorizations.
  • Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in TMS or willingness to undergo training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
