Responsibilities Work in a 15-bed LDRP hospital unit with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms Patient population includes antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care RNs provide care across all areas of LDRP and perform newborn hearing screens and lab draws Staffing ratios align with AWHONN guidelines Night shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 7 : 30 Required to work every other weekend Float as needed to house as a sitter and to the nearest hospital unit for L&D or Mother / Baby as needed Uses Epic EMR documentation system RNs will circulate and scrub in the OR, assist with deliveries, and provide couplet care Staff perform lab draws and conduct hearing screens on newborns using the ALGO 5 machine Scrubs are provided for all staff No call requirement for this role Only one holiday RTO allowed per contract period, and only for one day or contiguous evening / day Time off (RTO) is not permitted during the first 8 days of the contract May consider candidates for longer contract lengths Requirements Active MI RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, OB, and Mother / Baby Certifications required : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and / or NCC C-EFM AWHONN Advanced certification preferred Experience in circulating and fetal heart monitoring triage required; scrub experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623778.
