Overview
Cohen Children’s Medical Center, associated with Hofstra-Northwell Medical School, Department of Radiology, is actively seeking a full time Diagnostic Pediatric Radiologist.
Responsibilities
- Clinical responsibilities include all aspects of Pediatric Radiology (plain film, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI).
- Teach medical students, residents and fellows; participate in several multidisciplinary conferences.
- Service coverage includes Cohen Children’s Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, and several community hospitals remotely.
Qualifications
Medical degree (M.D. or D.O).Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology; CAQ certified or eligible.Qualified for licensure in New York.Expertise in all areas of Pediatric Radiology (except Neuroradiology) is required; additional expertise / interest in Pediatric MSK is a plus.Dedication to scholarly activity and teaching; eligible for an academic appointment if warranted.About the Department and Facilities
The Cohen Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) is a 202-bed tertiary pediatric hospital performing approximately 70,000 examinations annually; largest provider of pediatric health services in New York State.New inpatient hospital with a state-of-the-art Emergency Department; Level I Pediatric trauma center; Level III NICU; Pediatric ICU and Bone Marrow Transplant unit.Pediatric Radiology division includes 5 radiologists, with two new dedicated Pediatric MR machines (1.5T and 3T), two CT scanners, two Siemens flat panel fluoroscopy units, and 3 ultrasound suites; Pediatric Ultrasound technologists available 24 hours a day.New separate Pediatric Neuroradiology division with two dedicated Pediatric Neuroradiologists.Research activity supported through a departmental research division and the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.Compensation and Benefits

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, impacted by factors including specialty, experience, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
