This request is for a "house supervisor" that rounds on all 15 inpatient care units every 4 hours, coordinates staffing needs on these units to assign available float RNS and CNAs.
Critical care is a preferable background as they will help problem solve and direct patient placement by units based on level of care.
They will need to learn the skills to update individual shift schedules in our staffing and scheduling system (API, UKG).
Interpret and count scheduled staff, apply the unit staffing matrix and patient census, and identify if # of scheduled staff are adequate : and apply RN and SIEU contract overages, or apply in the moment recruitment tools if under staffed.
They are responsible for responding the facility safety, security and emergency responses, and assuring application of related policy.
