Job Summary
As the Regional Director of Operations, you will oversee the daily operations, staff management, and quality of care at Andreas Angels. This position is also the designated Administrator for our licensed Colorado Class B Home Care Agency, responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations for non-medical personal care services.
You will supervise the all levels of staff throughout the region, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a culture of professionalism and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance & Agency Oversight
- Ensure agency compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including CDPHE standards for Class B home care agencies
- Maintain organizational charts, personnel files, administrative records, policies, and procedures
- Ensure completion, maintenance, and submission of required reports and records to CDPHE
- Maintain availability during all hours personnel are providing services; designate in writing qualified staff to act in your absence
- Ensure marketing and promotional materials accurately reflect services provided
Operational Management
Oversee branch operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and facility oversightMonitor payroll, expenses, revenue from billable hours, and other financial metricsConduct cost-benefit analyses and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencyMaintain effective operational systems to ensure smooth service delivery and high-quality careQuality Assurance & Training
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to implement infection prevention, safety protocols, and care standardsConduct audits to ensure adherence to agency guidelines and protocolsLead orientation, in-service education, and ongoing training programs for all homemakers and personal care staffMonitor staff performance, retention, and professional developmentStaff & Patient Engagement
Oversee recruitment, training, and retention strategies across departmentsEnsure effective communication and engagement with patients, caregivers, and staffHandle complaints and grievances promptly and in compliance with regulatory guidelinesData & Reporting
Utilize operational data to inform decisions, monitor performance metrics, and report outcomes to senior managementEnsure coordinated case management, staffing, and caregiver assignmentsMaintain a culture of accountability through clear KPIs and goal-oriented performance monitoringKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Payroll Efficiency Optimal resource allocation and staff satisfactionExpense Control Minimize unnecessary expenditures and optimize spendingRevenue Growth Maximize billable hours and efficient schedulingStaff Retention & Training Reduce turnover and ensure compliance with ongoing training requirementsRegulatory Compliance Zero violations in CDPHE audits and timely completion of all required reportsMinimum Qualifications
Must have prior Home Care, Nursing Home, or Assisted LivingCollege degree is requiredMBA or RN license a plusMust have at least 5 years of management experience in a healthcare settingMust complete an 8-hour CDPHE-approved Class B Administrator training course within the first month of designationComplete 12 additional clock hours of Class B educational training within the first 12 months (total ~20 hours in the first year)Complete 12 clock hours of continuing education annually thereafter, with at least 8 hours for first-time administrators if applicableStrong knowledge of home care operations, quality assurance, and Colorado Class B licensing regulationsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to use translator services as neededProficiency with operational and scheduling systems (e.g., Salesforce, IVR, HHAeXchange)Benefits
