About This Role

We believe people should love what they do. In an Autonomous Vehicle Systems Engineer role, you will be responsible for delivering disruptive autonomous system technologies which enhance the mission capabilities of our customers. Textron Systems is looking for experienced engineers to deliver these technologies and we leverage diversity of thought to develop the best solutions for these critical missions.

Our engineers are involved in the entire life cycle of our products, from conceptual design through testing and delivery. Your day may include designing, modeling and simulation, prototyping, integration, and testing of autonomous air, land, and sea-borne robotic vehicles and their subsystems. We want engineers who can apply new technologies such as machine vision and machine learning to multi-domain automation tasks and communicate their approaches to a wide audience.

Position requires no more than 25% travel.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degrees in the fields of Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems or Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in the application of robotic air, land, or sea systems.
