Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to :
As Vice President of Senior Living Real Estate Development Consulting, you will :
Lead and support clients in development advisory roles, focusing on senior living real estate positioning, financial analysis, project budgeting, acquisitions, dispositions, development strategy, due diligence, entitlements, project feasibility, and partnerships.
Manage and coordinate real estate developments, communicating effectively with developers, brokers, lenders, and third-party service providers to resolve issues and ensure project success
Evaluate and assess market research to determine senior living demand and growth opportunities.
Perform financial modeling for new construction and expansion projects, including proformas and benchmark analysis.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for clients.
Assist clients with upfront strategy, economic development, and operational opportunities, including highest and best use studies, planning, and economic impact analysis.
Manage client relationships, project schedules, and deliverables, ensuring exceptional client service and successful project completion.
Participate in client meetings and site visits, interacting with top-level management to gather and assess critical information.
The qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Real Estate Development, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field .
M inimum 5 years of real estate investment, development, or consulting experience, with a strong focus on senior living real estate.
Experience with end-to-end real estate development, including economic development incentives and complex financing structures.
Proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and strong technical aptitude with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects throughout their lifecycle while maintaining exceptional client service.
Willingness to travel as needed, with approximately 25% overnight travel.
Must reside in Chicago or Detroit, or be willing to relocate .
This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
