American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Columbia, South Carolina.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of recent experience and EPIC proficiency for a full-time, variable shift contract.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting
  • Full-time schedule with 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Shift start times vary between 7 : 00 AM and 9 : 30 AM
  • On-call rotation after 5 : 00 PM on weekdays and during weekends, supported by a team of primary and backup techs
  • Must participate in call rotation with 6 to 7 staff members
  • Floating to qualified units or campuses may be required according to facility needs
  • Uses EPIC EMR system
  • Must be willing to complete pre-assignment modules and testing as required
  • Orientation sessions are held weekly on Mondays
  • Modules prior to start are paid, up to 16 hours
  • Scrubs or dress code details will be provided by the facility
  • Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; full benefits at 100+ miles, with a bill rate reduction between 50–99.9 miles
  • Team support available within the department
  • Duties include all routine and advanced IR procedures within the scope of practice

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Interventional Radiology
  • Previous experience with Epic EMR for at least 1 year required
  • License required if applicable
  • Two professional references required for consideration
