CT Technologist Job Details

Location : Hummelstown, PA 17036 (Central Pennsylvania, near Hershey)

Healthcare Setting : Hospital – CT Scan Unit

Assignment Type : Travel CT Technologist

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 8, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Evening shift, 8 hours (3 : 00pm – 11 : 00pm)

Expected Hours : 40 hours per week

On-Call : 1-2 nights per week

Weekend Shifts : Some weekends required (3 : 00pm – 11 : 00pm)

Dress Code : Scrubs (any color)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,490 - $2,670

CT Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered radiologic technologist with CT registry (ARRT – CT)

Experience in trauma or cardiac healthcare facilities preferred

Proficient in venipuncture and IV placement

Skilled in Cardiac CT, Brain Perfusion, CTA (Body, Neuro, TAVR), and Pediatric CT scans

Experience operating Siemens CT scanners (Sensation 40, Flash / Force)

Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system required

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – CT

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

CT Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans for trauma, cardiac, neuro, and pediatric patients

Operate Siemens CT equipment and document procedures in Cerner EHR

Demonstrate expertise in venipuncture and IV skills

Participate in on-call rotation (1-2 nights per week) and scheduled weekend shifts

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant hospital work environment
