Women’s Health Medical Science Liaison – Syneos Health Commercial Solutions
Join our team as a field‑based Scientific Professional within the Medical Affairs organization, working closely with Clinical Development and supporting our Women’s Health program worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Engage in non‑promotional educational discussions with KOLs and HCPs on scientific data and solutions for miscarriage management.
- Present clinical trial data on efficacy, safety, and patient outcomes to internal and external audiences.
- Serve as the scientific expert on the company’s products, disease areas, and clinical data.
- Identify and develop relationships with Women’s Health KOLs supporting miscarriage management and other product pipeline activities.
- Share clinical decision‑making tools and host education on patient‑centered miscarriage care.
- Attend Women’s Health conferences (e.g., ACOG, SMFM) to share updates, engage in KOL development, and understand patient journeys.
- Identify barriers to medication use for missed miscarriage and develop strategies to address them.
- Use KOL feedback to tailor educational content and address misconceptions or gaps in knowledge.
- Address accessibility barriers to the company’s assets.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
MD / DO, PhD, MS in Nursing, PharmD, Certified Nurse Midwife, or related healthcare degree (terminal degree preferred).Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an MSL or related role.Strong scientific and clinical knowledge in Women’s Health.Experience with ultrasound preferred.Deep passion for women’s health, reproductive health, and family planning.Ability to travel extensively (up to 60–80% depending on territory).Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong scientific and business acumen; ability to communicate complex information to colleagues, academicians, and healthcare decision makers.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Understanding of pharmaceutical industry and regulatory guidelines.Proven track record of establishing KOL relationships and supporting external stakeholders.Experience in product launch support and creation of educational materials.Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.Knowledge of women’s healthcare landscape and managed care arena.Ability to respond to Medical Information Requests compliantly.Skilled in creating PowerPoint presentations and other educational content.Time‑management and ability to travel in a large territory.Benefits and Diversity
