Responsibilities :
- Provide helpful answers to clients on any policy or billing questions including explanation of coverage or rate changes to ensure complete understanding
- Update policy changes on customer accounts in our book of business and inform clients about policy changes according to NAIC regulations
- Support clients reporting claims on current policies by gathering all documentation needed to give to the adjuster to process
- Stay up to date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly speaking with our industry partners so you can help clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team understand and address the latest rules and policy updates
- Help create competitive quotes when it is time to issue renewals or make updates to a current policy
- Work independently to answer clients completely on policy or billing questions, including explanations about their coverage or rate adjustments to ensure total understanding
- Develop competitive quotes for coverage or make updates to a current policy
- Document any policy changes on customer accounts in Epic and clearly communicate with customers about those updates
- In partnership with the producer, manage the account renewal from pre-renewal review until final binding of coverage
- Market new business as needed
- Review of customer contracts in relation to the insurance program
- Develop and maintain a trusted consultative relationship with clients
- Prompt and efficient deliverables to clients and carriers
- Maintain up-to-date data in the agency management system
- Support team members as needed
Qualifications :
We are looking for candidates with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree but will consider those with relevant insurance industry experience, as wellInsurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is preferred but we will provide training as needed for the right fit and skillsetFollow up skill, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills are a must in this roleApplicants must have an active insurance license in their state or be willing to get licensed in 90 daysApplicants must have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience handling all aspects of account managementStrong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skillsProficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Proficient in Applied EPICActive Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance LicenseAbility to work closely with producers and team membersAbout Company
