A company is looking for a Vice President, Property Treaty Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver profitable growth through effective risk selection and remediation strategies for reinsurance business

Make high-level underwriting decisions and set overarching terms, conditions, and pricing strategies

Manage relationships with key clients and lead crisis management efforts related to significant reinsurance events

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, or related fields

12+ years of experience in Reinsurance Underwriting with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a Master's degree

State P&C and / or surplus line licenses required

Associate in Reinsurance (ARE) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) is a plus
