What You'll Do
As our Foundation Repair Technician, you will be responsible for supporting commercial & residential foundation repair, soil stabilization, or concrete lifting & leveling projects. Career advancement is available. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to communicate, work hard, and collaborate.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Perform general construction work, using hand tools, and lifting materials as directed by the site supervisor; Construction work may include any of the following : crawlspace work, outside drilling, pile drilling, machinery operation, or concrete work
- Understand project schedules, assume additional responsibilities, and work overtime hours as needed to meet project deadlines
- Work cohesively with team members to exceed client expectations, ensuring a positive work environment
- Maintain equipment daily to ensure it functions properly and safely
- Align the work with Helicon's culture and strategic goals — Stay True, Communicate Clearly, Forecast Needs + Outperform
- Work with the team on mutually agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
High School diploma, GED or equivalentAt least one year of experience in construction general labor and / or outdoor work for long hoursReliable transportation, valid FL driver's license, and a clean driving recordThe ability to be coached and mentored and collaborate within a team environmentYou Will Love Working For Helicon If You
