Diagnose and resolve hardware and process-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to ensure reliable and efficient operations. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify challenges, develop corrective actions, and implement sustainable solutions. Ensure compliance with established quality and safety standards across all activities. Deliver clear communication to ensure understanding and alignment across teams and stakeholders. Promote and model proactive health and safety behaviors Actively identify risks, report incidents, and participate in initiatives that foster an injury-free, interdependent safety culture. Apply advanced knowledge of control systems hardware and software to specify, review, and approve designs for new installations or upgrades, ensuring seamless integration across manufacturing systems. Implement and optimize networked control systems and data transfer technologies to enhance connectivity, data analysis, and overall production efficiency. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electrical required. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Control Engineer in the manufacturing industry. Experience with minimizing downtime and optimizing production performance. Experience with identifying risks. Ability to initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
