• 12 hour shifts
• 15 - 30 patient encounters per shift
• ED staffed with 1 physician, occasionally supported by APC
• UC staffed with 2 APCs
• EMR : EPIC
• Procedures include intubations, central lines, chest tubes, FAST exams, LPs
• Adjacent urgent care is part of ED
• No ED deliveries
