Maintenance Electrician

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unload brick from kiln cars and palletize
• Sort brick according to specifications
• Throw brick that does not meet quality standards onto grog belt
• Unclog grog belt or re-stock plastic as needed
• Re-stock packaging line with pallets and / or wood strips
• Clean on or around grog belt and kiln cars
• Maintains work area according to company specifications for cleanliness and safety
• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Predictable and Regular in-person attendance is required, includes overtime and weekends as needed. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Requires on the job training to be able to perform duties
• Must be able t communicate effectively with peers, customers and supervisors
• Basic reading, writing and math skills
• Ability to follow simple instructions

• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit.
• Required to repetitively lift and / or move up to 40 pounds and must be able to walk, stand, lift. Twist, bend and to reach with hands and arms
