Overview
As an integral part of the Seasons team, the Category Consultant will specialize in seasonal reporting, developing tools and resources for Sales and Category Management, and manage seasonal assortment and plan-o-grams. This position works cross-functionally with numerous internal and external partners to drive seasonal solutions, strategy, and capabilities. Reporting will include managing sell-thru reporting, the IRI sales tracker, toolkit development, and additional reporting needs. An ability and desire to sharpen technical skills is required as this role will require learning Tableau, Alteryx, advanced Excel, and other skills. This is a high-visibility role focused on supporting Leadership, Marketing, and cross-functional partners to understand seasonal performance to shape strategy and tactics.

Responsibilities
- Be the expert on seasonal reporting and tools for CatMan and Sales.
- Serve as a seasonal expert across the organization.
- Drive Seasons Distribution and plan-o-gram strategy, tracking and analysis across the organization.
- Develop toolkits, tools, and resources for the broader CatMan and Sales organization to help with sell-thru forecasting, distribution / assortment / POGs, analysis and storytelling for the season.
- Pilot new capabilities to drive total season solutions.
- Complete cross-functional projects with internal teams such as sales, category management, marketing, shopper insights and demand planning.
- Utilize strong technical skills to gather and present complex data.
- Learn and utilize extensive technical skills to lead seasonal reporting capabilities. Tools include Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, and others.
- Provide objective, comprehensive, consumer-based insights and actionable recommendations based upon that information for the CMG category.
- Manage and communicate seasonal reporting results around sell-thru and sales performance.
- Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to help develop seasonal strategy.
- Support identification and solving of key business issues through regular and ad hoc business analysis, including category reviews and line reviews.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.3–5 years of Category Management and / or CPG Sales experience.Advanced analytical skills.Advanced understanding of consumer / shopper behavior and market research strategies.Knowledge of consumer sales industry trends and complete working knowledge of the category management process.J-18808-Ljbffr
