ICU RN Job Details Location : Portland, Oregon 97213 (Oregon nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 - End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Shifts : 3x12-hour shifts per week (Days : 07 : 00-19 : 00, Nights : 19 : 00-07 : 00; rotating schedule) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2010 - $2160 Setting : Short Term Acute Care, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 Floating : Required to other units and nearby affiliate hospitals as needed Parking : Free on-site Scrub Color : Any color ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon (pending license accepted) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CCRN preferred Experience with Epic EMR / Charting system required Must have a vehicle for travel between healthcare facilities Ability to float to other units and affiliate hospitals as needed Willingness to work every other weekend and some holidays Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilator support, CRRT, ECMO, and advanced cardiac interventions Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery lines / Swan Ganz, and vasoactive intravenous medications Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams Document patient care using Epic electronic medical records (EMR) Float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed to meet patient care demands Participate in orientation and complete required clinical modules prior to start Why Choose Portland, Oregon for Your Next Nursing Assignment?
