Salary : $42,000.00 Annually
Total Annual Compensation Package Estimate : $61,117

Duties and responsibilities include serving as the Travel Preparer in the Statewide Travel Management System for all travel reimbursements, conducting travel training for staff, keeping current on laws related to reimbursing staff, processing cash, checks, ACH receipts, and online payments, maintaining property records, and processing account receivables.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include knowledge of accounting principles, internal control concepts, and applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to accounting programs; ability to prepare and maintain accounting records; ability to work independently, problem-solve, and make decisions; ability to use a personal computer and automated spreadsheet applications; ability to analyze and interpret accounting data; ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or the equivalent. Preferred qualifications include experience working with FLAIR, knowledge of the statutory requirements for state travel, experience working in the STMS application, and experience recording and reconciling service payments.
